MetaMask is an integrated browser wallet or âhot-walletâ that allows you to interact with web 3.0 applications (new internet, yay!) all over the web.

There are all sorts of other wallets, each with their own advantages and disadvantages but thatâs a topic for another post!

Go to Metamask and download the wallet. Theyâll walk you through the set-up and itâs pretty straightforward! Just a password then a super secret recovery phrase đ
The most important part is to record your secret recovery phrase somewhere safeâźď¸Â (Paper or offline file for now) more on this later!

The easiest way to add Polygon to MetaMask is to go to polygonscan.com on desktop. Scroll to bottom of page and click on the little orange button that says âAdd Polygon Networkâ. Approve adding the network inside MetaMask youâre all set!
